Gemma joined Larcomes in May 2014 as a Trainee Solicitor within the Commercial Department and qualified as a Solicitor in February 2016.

Gemma graduated with honours in Law from the University of Portsmouth in 2011 and then went on to undertake her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford in 2012.

Before joining Larcomes Gemma worked as part of a Legal Services team within two Local Authorities’ whereby she gained experience at both the County Court and the Family Court assisting with Child Care proceedings from supervision orders through to placements and adoption. Working closely with Social Workers and Guardians.

Gemma has experience representing clients within a wide spectrum of litigation areas. She is involved with assisting David Sumner in various aspects of litigation including; Landlord and Tenant claims, Debt claims, Breach of Contract claims and Boundary Disputes. Gemma also advises and acts on behalf of clients in relation to Co-Ownership disputes and Enforcement proceedings.

Gemma is a member of the Law Society Junior Lawyers Division.In her free time Gemma likes to spend time with her young son and enjoys travelling and reading
