  • The Private Client Team at Larcomes are specialists in preparing Wills to cover a wide range of client’s needs from a straightforward Will for a single person, husband and wife Wills, complex Wills dealing with high value assets, Inheritance Tax advice and Wills creating Trusts on death.

    Prices start from just £150 plus VAT.

  • Lasting Power of Attorney

  • A Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to choose someone you trust to make decisions on your behalf in respect of your property and affairs and/or your personal welfare at a future date when you may no longer wish to, or may lack the mental capacity, to make those decisions.

    If you would like to make a Lasting Power of Attorney, please complete our Questionnaire and return it to us by e-mail or post. Again, one of our Team will then contact you do discuss your requirements.

    Our fee for preparing the Lasting Power of Attorney on your behalf and registering it with the Office of the Public Guardian range from £350 to £550 plus VAT depending on the complexity involved (this price excludes any court fees).

  • Deputyship Applications

  • If someone you care about has already lost the capacity to deal with their property and affairs or personal welfare, then a Lasting Power of Attorney is available to them, but we can make an application to the Court of Protection to have you appointed as a ‘Deputy’.

    The process is longer and more complex than creating a Lasting Power of Attorney but it has a similar result in that you would then be able to deal with your loved ones personal affairs on their behalf.

  • Estates

  • If you have been appointed as an Executor in a deceased’s estate or you are a close relation of someone who has passed away without making a Will, you may be responsible for dealing with their estate.

    This can be a daunting prospect but our Private Client Team have a wealth of experience in assisting people at this difficult time. We can provide as much help and advice as you feel you need. Just give us a call to discuss your requirements.

  • Disputes

  • We can also advise you if you feel that you have not been properly provided for in a Will or if you have any concerns regarding the circumstances in which a Will was made.

  • Trusts

  • If you need advice regarding setting up a trust in your Will or during your lifetime, our Private Client Team will be happy to help.
