Wills Trusts & Probate

Our specialist Private Client Team will give you accessible, cost-effective and expert legal advice on the following:

Wills

Our specialists can cover virtually every client need from single person or husband and wife Wills to Wills dealing with high values assets including issues such as Inheritance Tax and Trusts.

We offer fixed fees on simple wills for one person at £140 plus VAT and £240 plus VAT for married couples. For a free, no obligation quote, please complete our Will Questionnaire.

Lasting Power of Attorney

A Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to nominate a suitable person to make decisions on your behalf in respect of your property, affairs and personal welfare when you no longer wish to or are unable to make those decisions.

For more details, please read our Lasting Power of Attorney Information Sheet

We offer fixed fees on one Lasting Power of Attorney (either Property and Financial Affairs or Health and Welfare) at £300 plus VAT, both Lasting Power of Attorney for one person at £450 plus VAT and for couples, all four Lasting Powers of Attorney for £600 plus VAT. A Court Registration Fee of £130 is required in addition to our fees. However this Court Registration Fee is subject to income and could be less or reduced to nil if on certain benefits.

If you would like to make a Lasting Power of Attorney, please complete our Lasting Power of Attorney Questionnaire. One of our Team will then contact you to discuss your requirements.

Grant of Probate

When someone dies, if you are named as an Executor of a Will you may need to apply for a Grant of Probate. This is an official document which you may need to administer the deceased's estate. We offer a fixed fee of £350 plus VAT plus disbursements for obtaining Grant of Probate.

Estates & Trusts

If you have been appointed as an Executor or you are a close relative of someone who has passed away without making a Will, you may be responsible for dealing with the Estate. Our team of experts has a wealth of experience in providing valuable assistance in such difficult circumstances.

If you feel that you have not been properly provided for in a Will or if you have any concerns regarding the circumstances in which a Will was made, we can also advise you.

You may wish to set up a Trust in your Will or during your lifetime. Again, our Wills, probate and trust solicitors are happy to advise on all of the aspects involved.

* All Fixed Fees are subject to an initial assessment of your case.
